speaking
I make entrepreneurship accessible + business easy to understand.
I believe that entrepreneurship is a great tool for building wealth as well as bringing great ideas to market. Moreover, I believe that it’s important for all groups – especially women and minorities – to understand and have access to best practices, resources and funding because with out such access, we miss out on the best leaders and innovation. That said, I love making entrepreneurship more accessible to all through blogging, speaking at events, and more. Recent topics covered include various strategic and operational issues (such as starting, funding and running your startup), human resources matters (such as effective diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives and how to achieve pay equity), recruiting best practices (such as how to build a sales team within weeks) and more.
If you’re interested in having me moderate or speak on a panel, present a keynote, or conduct a workshop, send my team an email.
Here are comments from recent talks:
Role: Panel Moderator of “Wolverine Women in Entrepreneurship”
“Tanya was a fantastic moderator: she prepared questions well in advance for the panelists, conducted pre-interviews. Then, at the event, she drew the audience into the discussion with engaging questions and synopses – as well as her extremely dynamic personality and knowledge of the entrepreneurial field.”
– Aparna, University of Michigan NYC Alumni Club
Role: Panel Moderator of “Financial Planning”
“Tanya possesses an unparalleled ability to translate years of acquired knowledge pertaining to complex subjects into comprehensible memorable takeaways. Her presence at our conference was truly invaluable.”
